We had our second Naval Mega game over the last weekend and since the game master decided to do an earlier scenario than last year's, new ships had to be made.

So we constructed another 32 ships (mostly converted Heller Superbes but also a few Airfix Shannons) for this year's scenario, The Battle Of Trincomalee. Good news is that we only need another seven extra for next year's!

I built and painted the ships, but Andre made some additional furled sails and jib sails out of stiffened paper, and of course organized the whole thing!

Finished these two battalions of 1815 Young Guard (28mm Perry &Foundry) 72 figures in all.

They are in fact left-overs from our big Waterloo display diorama that didn't make it. I already did the sitting down version of these and the diorama constructor decide that to have them twice on the table would bea bit of too much a good thing. So I just painted them up.
