A cracking game yesterday with some new players too. Surrounded British Paras awaited armour support while holding a bridge😃

A mixed Kampfgruppe attacked with four platoons of infantry and some Panzer IVs, StuGs and two Char B Flammepanzers. Both sides called on artillery and mortars.

The board, before a few tweaks

Probing Infantry try sneaking through the Railway station but get spotted.

On the opposite flank Infantry advance through a Vineyard with Panzer support.

Char B, earning its spurs, burns out the Paras before being knocked out by a PIAT.

Central thrust gets halted. Lead Panzer III breaks down on the ramp! Artillery pins the accompanying infantry.

XXXI Corps arrive with Shermans and KO a Panzer V with one shot. Game over!
