It was great to meet so many Lardies at Salute yesterday. Included amongst the many was Benito and his fellow wargamers from Madrid, Spain. It's therefore good timing to post one of Benito's latest Charlie Don't Surf after action reports, with a scenario taken from the Surf's Up scenario pack.

First up is the report from a game held at Stockholm Spelkonvent: a thrilling tale of two iron crosses!

For all those who game the Vietnam war, or who have wanted to but never found a set of rules you liked, I am very pleased to announce the release of the latest TFL ruleset: Charlie Don't Surf.
Available from the TFL website, along with Surf's Up a companion book of scenarios, I cannot recommend this ruleset highly enough. Not only does it incorporate all the latest TFL game mechanics and tweaks destined for IABSM v3, but it totally and 100% captures the feel of the period. So di di mau to the TFL website and get yourself a copy of this Number Ten Thousand ruleset!

I've added a new section to the site dedicated to Charlie Don't Surf: the soon-to-be-published Vietnam War rules from the TooFatLardies.
The only thing in the section at the moment is an AAR from the recent 2008 Games Day, where the same four scenarios were used by Lardies around the world to give the rules a final play-test before publication.
