Painting Challenge: June Update

The first of the month is always a good time to do an update (even if this publishes on the second!) so here’s a June 1st 2026 Painting Challenge update.

It’s all been a bit thin on the ground throughout May, but Mr Helliwell has sent in his usual cornucopia of delights: Napoleonics, ACW and a bit of terrain:

Stumpy has had some eBay success, and has been busy rebasing all his goodies. Here’s an ACW Rebel brigade on their shiny new bases:

Steve has allowed himself to get diverted by a nice new set of coastal forces rules ( Torpedoes and Tides). Here are the models he’s quickly amassed to set sail: about six bought second hand, the rest scratch built, all 1:1200 scale.

And last, but by no means least, here’s Mervyn’s contribution: four Wild West buildings and a scratch built graveyard he threw together the day before a game of Midgard for a show:

That’s all that’s been submitted for this update, so come on the rest of you: I know the weather is lovely, but that just means you don’t have to wait so long before the paint dries!
