Some reinforcements for my Vietnam US infantry: three M551 Sheridan tanks from Battlefront. Lovely models that come absolutely ram-jammed with stowage built into the models. The only negative point is the delicacy of the barrels of the HMGs: you can see from the photos how bent they are...and stay, despite my best efforts!
I haven't painted anything for Vietnam for ages, and have had a platoon of M113 APCs lurking in the lead mountain for almost as long!
Here then are four M113 APCs from Battlefront. Lovely vehicles that paint up really well, and come complete with multiple crew members and plenty of decals. Recommended.
Doubtless inspired by the imminent arrival of Charlie Don't Surf, I have now uploaded pictures of my NVA force. Only about a company's worth, but more than enough to cause trouble for the Yanks!
With Battlefront/FOW moving into Vietnam with their new Once We Were Warriors range, I thought it was about time I started uploading my Vietnam collection into a gallery. Here is the US Rifle Company for starters, NVA and VC to follow in due course.
