The first (of hopefully many!) After Action Reports using Get Your Frickin' Tentacle Out Of My Face: the IABSM sci-fi variant from the TFL Christmas Special 2009. Here, a brave rapid reaction force is ordered to "Hold until Overrun" in the face of insectoid assault from The Hive. Epic stuff!

I have now uploaded the four playtest AARs from Lard Island's play-testing of Charlie Don't Surf. Very exciting stuff!
Four new AAR's added, all from the All American 82nd Airborne scenario pack. Inspired by Martin 981463's fantastic 20mm game, I went back and loaded up the three playtest battle reports from the Durham boys. Click on the links to read the reports.
I've also added links to all Kev (Fat Wally)'s battle reports to make your browsing even easier.
"My God! It's A Monster!" Richard Clarke with a report on the latest play-test for IABSM III.
This brings the number of AARs on the site up to fifty: crackingly good reads with lots of inspiring photographs!
Battle report and photographs from Scenario 8 of the Sealion scenario pack.
Battle report and photographs from Scenario 1 of the Cymru Am Byth scenario pack, covering the actions of the Welsh Guards around Arras.
Two AARs from George Gouveia from the first two scenarios from the D-Day supplement Where The Hell Have You Been, Boys?
This year's TFL Games Day focussed on the Allied airborne landings that were the immediate precursor to D-Day. Lardies throughout the world played games themed around this event.
Broadly speaking, activities at Lard HQ focused on the British 6th Airborne Division's operations; whilst other islands of Lard around the globe played games focusing on the US 82nd Airborne Division's operations.
In all, fourteen games were played: reports are here.
More photographs from the recent 2008 Games Day, where the same four scenarios were used by Lardies around the world to give the rules a final play-test before publication.
We now have photographs from Lard Island; Denmark; Tasmania and North California.
You can go straight to the AAR here.
After a work- and baby-enforced absence, a whole raft of battle reports added:
